In order to help with the management of a resident’s fluid intake, a Daily Fluid Intake Target alert has been introduced to the system.
This will, on condition that the alert is enabled for your facility and the resident has a fluid baseline range set, trigger an alert when the resident has had less than their minimum fluid baseline over a given day.
As a result, you’ll be able to react to this issue and introduce remedial action in the future.
The daily fluid intake target alert will follow the standard journey of all existing alerts and can be found at a resident level by following the below:
Click on residents or Home.
Click Actions, and then Alerts.
📌Note: If you do not require this alert to be raised for a specific resident, please remove the amount listed in resident details, baseline health ranges, and fluid recommended levels.
