Even if a resident is marked as being deceased, their records will still show up in certain reports unless archived.
β
The guide below walks you through how to archive a deceased resident:
Click Admin.
Click Occupancy Management.
Filter by status, deceased or all.
Find the resident that you wish to archive by first and last name.
On the occupancy record, click Edit.
Select the Archive Records check box and enter a reason for this.
Click Save.
πNote: Archiving will hide but not delete all the resident documentation in the facility. Restoring such documents is possible if needed.
To reinstate a deceased resident record, follow the steps below:
Click Admin.
Click Occupancy Management.
Filter by status, deceased or all.
Find the resident by first and last name.
On the occupancy record, click Unarchive.
Unallocated resident
To delete an unallocated resident, follow the steps below:
On the Home Page, click on Residents.
Change status to Unallocated.
Click on the Resident.
Amend the DOB (to ensure this doesn't clash when you're creating a new resident with the same DOB)
Click Save.
Take note of the resident ID, which shows on the URL link (Save somewhere to check later if needed)
On the same resident page, at the top under MORE, click delete unallocated resident.
Click Yes.
Go back to Admin, then Occupancy Management, and find the resident to ensure the profile is no longer available.
