When a resident is going to be away from your care for a short period of time, you can suspend their requirements so that they don’t show in your active residents. This is especially useful for hospital stays or family visits and stops staff starting forms or charts when the resident isn’t there.
Suspend a resident
To suspend a resident’s care, you’ll need access to the Admin menu.
Click Admin, then click Occupancy management.
Click the resident’s name, then click Suspend.
Enter the date and time of departure.
On the Departure reason list, select the most appropriate reason.
Click Save.
After saving, a suspension tag shows next to the resident’s name, showing the reason for suspension.
View suspended residents
You can see a list of suspended residents from the Residents menu.
Click Residents.
On the Status list, select Suspended.

Readmit a resident
To readmit a resident, you’ll need access to the Admin menu.
Click Admin, then click Occupancy management.
On the Status list, select Suspended.
Click the resident’s name, then click Admit.
On the Residency Type list, select the required type.
Enter an admission date and time, then click Save.
After saving, the suspension tag clears from the resident’s name.
